The Attitude of Gratitude for Parking Angel Faith Pt.1

Take a look around you. I mean really, stop a moment, become aware of your surroundings. Reflect on the vibrant colors of the walls, feel the textured fabric of the seat supporting you, smell the rich fragrance of the air you're breathing. You are immersed in a sea of energy manifest in physical form, and that manifest destiny is a direct projection of a mind. Who's mind, your mind.

Many of us go through our lives as if we are only spectators in the stadium cheap seats watching our days unfold, myopically using binoculars and other apparatus to enhance hearing, seeing and feeling your own life's experiences; from a distance.

Why? Did you not know that you are the owner?

In this analogy of your life's reality, you own the team, the stadium, the condiments, the seats, the administrative and service employee positions, and the grounds surrounding everything; so why aren't you sitting behind home plate, or in the dugout. Chopping it up with artful league banter, and giving high-fives with the players, a quick head-nod to the umpires giving you the look, calling the shots and making the big decisions from the owner's sky box. Yet many of us resist the responsibilities of any team ownership/management, and even more so, absolve to not assume ownership/management of our own personal lives.

I know inspired individuals who've stepped on to the 'Field of Dreams' in they're own lives, and quietly spoke the lines from the Kevin Costner movie bearing the same title; and in that moment lived, "If I build it, they will come." Now, they've come to celebrate life as LIVED OUT LOUD. Imagine, up front and in glorious high definition JumboTron™ massive screen television; the ultimate 'Reality TV' production.  Rave reviews, paparazzi interest and attention, plus all the perk swag bag red carpet experiences lived magically everyday. Want to know how they did it? How they do it, everyday?

BASED ON TRUE STORIES
Do you know about "The Attitude of Gratitude" for "Parking Angel Faith?"

Consider the lyrics to Alanis Morissette"s 'You Learn' as we negotiate your life.

I, recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone, yeah
I, recommend walking around naked in your living room, yeah

Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill)
It feels so good (swimming in your stomach)
Wait until the dust settles

[Chorus]
You live you learn, you love you learn
You cry you learn, you lose you learn
You bleed you learn, you scream you learn

I, recommend biting off more than you can chew to anyone
I certainly do
I, recommend sticking your foot in your mouth at any time
Feel free

Throw it down (the caution blocks you from the wind)
Hold it up (to the rays)
You wait and see when the smoke clears

[Chorus]

I, I, oh, oh

Wear it out (the way a three-year-old would do)
Melt it down (you're gonna have to eventually, anyway)
The fire trucks are coming up around the bend

[Chorus]

You grieve you learn, you choke you learn
You laugh you learn, you choose you learn
You pray you learn, you ask you learn
You live you learn

News flash: There is no bad news... there is only news. Bad and/or good is just our relative subjective opinion. Yes, the news of things can and will affect us emotionally... and this too shall pass. One of my favorite phrases in the King James Bible states, "And it came to pass..." Love the fact that the Bible did not say, 'And it came to stay...' Things happen, yes they do; give thanks, brush yourself off, and move on.

The 'Attitude of Gratitude' pinions on this single posit, 'You Live, You Learn.' Attitude is to You Live, as Gratitude is to You Learn.

Examine the six major areas of life: home, health, relationship, money, career and happiness. Remember the opening words to this article? Go ahead, check it out... I'll wait here until you re-read it.

Now, consider doing same exercise above with the these six key areas (home, health, relationship, money, career and happiness), also. Go ahead, check it out... I'll wait here again while you review within your mind.

You are immersed in a sea of energy manifest in physical form, and that manifest destiny is a direct projection of a mind. Who's mind, your mind.

Basically, there is absolutely no area of your life that you did not personally and painstakingly create. Which means you can change it, but how? Gratitude.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity...Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
